Do you let girls win?

I ask this question because I mercilessly beat my friend into submission during a game of air hockey tonight. She was talking shit before the match saying she beats all of our other guy friends, and then I showed her what's up. You don't get any easy wins against me. You earn your victories, no matter what the game is.

That's how I would expect to be treated. I'd be insulted if someone let me win. Does anybody feel the same way?? Is it not more rewarding knowing you truly defeated someone? That's what I thought.

i let em win.. sometimes.

it sucks losing. its boring to lose. once they look like they are getting bored, ill throw em a game or two. always have. its worked out for me.

there's strategy involved here, however. you have to play things right. it cant be too obvious, unless it needs to be somewhat obvious to show that you care. girls are smart, they know whats going on before we do.

its also not fun to win all the time so dont be throwing every game. its gotta be done just right so that when they win, they are happy. let em have a few goals, let the game get close at the very least.

happy girls make happy fun.

There have been a couple times, but one time, it bit us both in the ass.
We both really wanted to get laid, and figured that letting the other win would increase our own chances. Even sadder, it was a game of Scrabble. Never in the history of the game has there been so many two-lettered words strewn over a board. It was pretty pathetic. I even tried playing the word "I", then we both agreed it would be better just to get naked.

It depends. In the situation you described, NO. If I am teaching them how to play a game then the first couple of games I'll let them win. Then play like I would normally, give some pointers and so on in this cycle.

I almost never let em win. I try to be a gracious winner, and not a jackass about it, but I still wanna win everytime. And I think most women respect that, and appreciate the fact that you weren't patronizing enough to let her win just because shes a girl. Some girls are insulted if you do that.
