I once played a famous game. There was a choice that led to unexpected consequences and often you wanted to do the best, but your actions would led to terrible consequences. How could I know that the desire to save children from witches by releasing the spirit of the forest would lead to the nearest village being exterminated by this spirit, and Baron Philip Stenger would hang himself from grief, because the witches would turn his wife Anna into a monster. Or that the decision to save the sorcerers from Novigrad would lead to another witch hunt, only this time against other minorities.
Was I angry, upset about this? No. Such is life. An action that seems right and innocent to you can lead to sad consequences. DPC games are like that. A seemingly ordinary action can backfire on you. And this distinguishes BaDIK and AL from thousands of other wanking games and one of the reasons why the game stands out from the rest.
ElectronicRoberts recently posted a 200 page fan guide to BaDIK that he made himself. Name me one game that inspires people to do this. Look at it this way.
How about romancing 2 witches at the same time?
Btw every time I see your nickname I keep wondering- why is it "from"? Was "of" taken or any other reason? From feels like a mistranslation.

Good god! GL trying to find a specific post using keywords in this thread, even with the search box it's a nightmare.

This is no longer a game-thread but a chat-group that happens to revolve around the game.

Likely by the end of the day this shit will have 17,000 pages of posts... 17,000!!!!

I'ma pass on this game as I can't find shit in thread without spending half a day looking for buried treasure.

The paradigm shift has come for everyone except Quinn. She's still the same old Quinn. She hasn't learned anything from Riona's situation. She won't ask for help, that's it.

I fear she's just painted a bigger target on Riona's back by calling the police - who clearly won't be able to arrest Buddy, Vinny and Mick for some reason.
I have a shifty pair-o-dimes that says you are wrong about this. Be prepared for Quinn’s ascension, praise be to her glory! Blessed and protected will be her acolyte Riona! Our Quinn, Mother and guardian of all MC’s blessed children! Glorious and packed be the fruit-of-our-looms. Praise be to our Devine Quinn! Right, Karamba ? :coffee:

Just to give credit where it's due, I certainly couldn't have created the guide on my own. The guide was made by Casiope, and he deserves all the credit. I’ve simply updated it for the latest installment since, unfortunately, he became inactive.
Thanks for the clarification. You did a lot for the thread and I thought it was your work entirely.

I disagree with your first point. Imo Quinn not using tremolo's naive generosity and whiteknightery IS the paradigm shift.

Rex would have told her to use tremolo as her pawn and to sacrifice him if necessary which she did not. Quinn keeping the mc out of her "game" is the shift in her behavior, she used rio like a pawn and look where she ended up.

This is serious bullshit with guns and torture involved and the mc is just some small village boy at this point even when he can fight. He would be in grave danger of being hurt or killed and even if everything magically would work out flawlessly with his help, she would have involved him in serious illegal shit which could ruin his life.

Quinn not asking tremolo for help despite him wanting to help is her way of protecting him imo.

I agree that she kinda painted a big red cross on herself, rio and rio's mom ... but maybe (hopefully) her plan is more clever than simply calling the cops and there is more to it.

She sure didn't have a problem showing them off at Bella's
I believe she does say she has no problem with topless, just showing her pussy.

Then again that doesn't explain why she also hides her breasts after beer pong (although not that well).

I think we can stop pretending that Quinn didn't involve the MC in this because the plot doesn't allow for the MC in every route to be involved in this at this point in the game. Quinn not involving the MC has nothing to do with the 'kindness' that exists in Quinn's heart. You know it and I know it.

MC will be dragged into this shit eventually and probably the ticket to this shit will be Tommy who apparently has money problems (owing someone something) due to his drug addiction.

I'm trying to imagine the most rotten run possible in the MC's choices, and I've come to regret that the cheat points haven't appeared since the first season...
Well, MC himself isn't really in an relationship during season 1, except the some kind of "open relationship" he can get with Maya and Josy. Having cheat points for him wouldn't make any sense (for some of his fuckbuddies however...).
