Though they're in our life for a short time, we're in theirs for their whole life.
I had my Shadowbug since he was a kitten and I miss him dearly, but I knew when he started going to his litterbox and not wanting to leave it. I knew that he was ready to go. It wasn't easy taking him to the vet for that last time. I knew that he would feel more comfortable in my arms instead of being inside of his carrier.
