This position requires that you currently possess and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance. The position further requires that the applicants will obtain a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform GPS work. Failure to maintain (or obtain, if applicable) the appropriate U.S. Government clearance or customer screening requirements that results in the employee unable to perform the requirements of the role, may result in employment action up to and including termination.
Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in US Navy operations or cloud or software sales, or strategic account management at a B2B software company.
- Active US Government Top Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business.
- Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
- Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.
- Experience in enterprise technology sales or government technology sales, and supporting Navy clients.
- Understanding of Naval Sea Systems Command and shipyard operations.

In this role, you will join a team at the forefront of cloud technology transformation within the Department of Defense. You will serve as a trusted advisor and guide strategic initiatives that drive adoption of cloud solutions to help the Department of Defense transform its business processes and operations to improve mission success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, solution architects and partners, to develop tailored and compelling proposals relevant to the customer's challenges.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive strategic sales with key decision makers in the Navy, NAVSEA and the Maritime Industrial Base and serve as a trusted advisor who demonstrates expertise in how Google technologies can align to solve the Navy’s needs and strategic priorities.
- Negotiate and manage the entire cycle, often presenting to C-level executives in public sector customers.
- Lead account strategy to generate and develop business growth opportunities, work collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners in order to optimize business results in territory and open up opportunities with large public sector customers.
- Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and engaged landscape.
