The Lead section is strong in the beginning but very weak in the last few sentences. The lead doesn't highlight the key sections and talks too much about Fish Anatomy. Most of the sources are 10 years old or older. The article is not biased in any fashion, but there is a heavy amount of information on respiration while the other sections of the article are lacking in information and some towards the bottom are extremely short. The article includes pictures but some of them are not as descriptive and visually helpful as others. Most of the claims include a citation. The talk page has only three posts and they are edits of sources. The article is underdeveloped and can be improved with more relevant sources and better images to strengthen the key points of the article. The ending sections could be improved and more developed.

The Lead of the article is almost nonexistent, it is too long and doesn't have a concise introduction to highlight the key points of the topic. The article is well structured and includes a lot of information on the subject. Most of the claims have a citation but there are some missing articles (Red Links) throughout the article. The "Lampreys and Hagfish" and "Parasites on Gills" sections could use more information and better sources. Most of the sources are really old with a few newer sources sprinkled throughout. Most of the pictures are helpful and relevant to the key points of the article but some sections have no pictures at all.

The Lead starts off strong with the first sentence but the rest of it needs to be reworded and made less confusing. The lead could also use stronger information. The article has a strong but very short lead that is only two sentences long and doesn't mention key points. The article is not biased but is missing citations and the sources are not very recent. It was also a part of a class assignment that ended in March of 2017 so it has not been edited since then. The pictures in the article are descriptive and helpful without there being too many. The sections on "other vertebrates" and "invertebrates" could easily be strengthened with more information and pictures for birds, reptiles and amphibians.

The Lead is only one sentence long but the first sentence is perfect to begin it. With some more information and sources the lead could easily be strengthened. The article is lacking in information and pictures and has very few sources. The sources are all old except for one from 2010 and one from 2005. The talk page only has two posts so there is not a lot of editing currently happening for this article. A lot of the claims do not have citations and some of the information is incorrect. The talk page mentions a lack of organization in the article which is very clear when reading through the article. This article might need to be edited too much.

The Lead is very short but is concise with important information. It could easily be improved. Not all of the claims have citations and there are no references besides Wikipedia sources. The article is lacking descriptive information and a physiological explanation. The talk page has no posts except for two saying it is part of a course assignment. This article needs lots of improvement and source material to verify the information.
