Dave Scherer is reporting that Wright had been out rehabbing leg injuries and was pretty close to returning. There had also been rumblings that management felt he wasn't doing enough to get back into shape and showed lack of commitment. Scherer also reports that he had not been checking in with doctors for checkups. When his attitude didn't change, he was released.

Kurt Angle is going to TNA HOLY F******
It's for the best that Boogey left....I am getting tired of the recent trend of gimmick wrestlers (the HIghlanders, Boogeyman, the vampire on ECW). I prefer my wrestlers to have a more realistic character instead of some stupid cartoonish character that markets well to five year olds.
To quote the TNA loyal "This is awesome," I am stoked to see Kurt in TNA. Two of my dream matches Angle vs Somoa Joe and Angle vs AJ Styles seem very realistic now. I bet a rivilary between Angle and Styles could be just as good if not better than the rivalry of Angle and HBK.
I just hope that with Angle joining TNA, he doesn't become the latest former WWE guy who comes to TNA and hogs the spotlight from the younger "true TNA guys" like Monty, AJ, Chris Daniels, and Samoa Joe.
This sounds great for wrestling fans...but is this really great for Kurt? And I'm not talking about whatever business ties he has with Vince & the WWE, but I'm concerned about his health.
I thought the reason he was no longer with WWE was because he had pain-killer addiction issues, a beat body body that sorely needed LOTS of rest, and family issues.
These could all be rumours but, and I hope so.
I'm just wishing Kurt the best, as I'm sure all is fans are, and hope he isn't getting back into the squared cirle (or in this case the hexagon-circle) too soon.

As for his health it's better for Angle to go to TNA than return to the WWE, because TNA has a less demanding schedule than the WWE. In TNA guys wrestle only once a week whereas in the WWE guys wrestle 3 times a week. So the workload will be a lot less for Angle in TNA, which means less reason for Angle to abuse painkillers like he did in the WWE.

i hope tna does get bigger. i like the wwe but it's like the same thing. sure there's a few new things but they just drag a storyline to long, don't seem to add much of anything new. when i watch tna it's something new and it doesn't stay the same for to long. sure they don't get much new talent but there storylines are always changing and keep people well entertained.

i bought 2 tickets for each show, one for me and the other for my friend.
after I'd got them my friend said he didn't want to go.
i then looked on Ticketmaster again and got myself 1 ticket for each night (better seats).

You're a smart man for going to the wrestling shows and an even smarter guy for getting that huge profit on ebay. I love watching the WWE when they go to England, the crowds in England are always loud and make it much more fun to watch wrestling....I hope you have a good time on November 13.
