This doesn't creep me out quite as much as other suits do.
I guess its cause the head isn't huge or anything.

I'm tempted to suggest moving eyes via LED panels, I saw a halloween costume that did that really well once.
That wouldn't work here but I always think of it when I think of costumes.

Fun creature! The ears remind me of something Jim Henson for some reason. :D

yeah the ears are sorta up his alley. in fact, now that you mention it, it has a lot of henson's influence: the use of similar techniques for the eyes, and fleece/felt for beaks were common traits for his muppets.

Yeah and just the feel of the character makes me think of some of his more fantasy/sci-fi stuff from the 80's. :D

you say that and all i can think is farscape, but that was 1999. x3 though the ears do look a little like Rygil's, with the extra fluff and all xD

There was a lot of other movies besides Dark Crystal, like Fraggle Rock, Labrynth, Dinosaurs, The Storyteller, to name a few of the things I watched as a kid, and not to mention the countless critters that generally spewed out of the Jim Henson Creature Shop back then. They did a lot of monsters for too many movies, I can't name off the top of my head, but I just know when I've seen a critter done by that studio. There was a certain whimsy and style to them post Muppets era. ;P Not that I can name exactly where I saw tufty ears, but I think it was Labrynth and had to be somewhere else too.

well, considering most fursuit makers wish they could do what creature shop could, i'll certainly take it as a compliment :3
