A very fun commission for amberbob
There's still more backlog to post...but this one was VERY close to easter given so many of the characters being bunnies... didn't make it in time BUT it's close enough right? lol Tiny story provided by commissioner. Mirroring another Disney moment, points to whom can guess
It's time for the festival and most in Nottingham are excited to attend. One of the (if not the only) exceptions was one Sir Nicholas of Locksley who was in a rather fowl mood that day. Unlike his many siblings, the red fox was having many issues as of late. It was wasn't a simple existence, being a child of the legendary Robin Hood...He loved his family dearly though....but it seemed like the rest of them were completely content, unlike him. Even worse, the young todd was slated as the ceremony starter this year. He HAD take his seat and announce the start of the festival....despite his chagrin.
What he was not expecting......was for his childhood friend- Judith of the ever mysterious Bunnyburrow- to practically pounce out of the tent in front of him, in glittering dress and golden bands, dancing in the style of the fabled sirens.....she said nothing, but smiled softly as her graceful steps brought her closer and closer to him.... His breath was short, his thoughts stalled and eyes enraptured by the sight of her. She was practically in his lap before a chorus of cheers and shouts registered to his ears.... Both his parents and his caretakers from years on past were very much enjoying the show. He would have caught the smug grin of Skipper (dubbed skippy in the rabbits youth) if not for Judith grabbing the back of his neck. She was determined to make this day a much better one for Sir Nicholas.
With his gaze fixed on her lovely purple eyes, Sir Nicholas was frozen stiff and speechless as Judith leaned in, nuzzling their noses for a moment as she whispered in a soft and sweet voice meant only for him "Happy Easter, my Prince...."
