That's because Stan had a major overhaul in what his character is and his overall appearance changed to reflect that. Originally Stan seemed to be intended to be to Lena what Holly was meant to be for Ian. He was likely to have the big glow up due to Lena's influences, but EK's patrons complained that he wasn't incel enough to the point where EK went back and overhauled his character to be even uglier with a worse personality.
Most patrons liked Stan, but Eva Kiss wasn't happy with the character.

As I wrote in previous posts, I wasn't happy with his character on how he fit in the overall story. When I came up with the idea of Lena having a nerdy flatmate, the main appeal to me was using a character trope I hadn't explored in GGGB, which was full of hunks and malevolent guys. I thought it would be refreshing writing scenes with a different type of character, a nerd who would be more insecure and awkward, but equally horny, and how the female MC could interact with him.

The bad thing about having the develop the game chapter by chapter, and being in a hurry to launch my new project after ending GGGB, is that there's not much time for planning, or to revise and re-write stuff. Speed is key, and there were so many important and interesting characters to develop, both from Ian's and Lena's perspectives, so there wasn't much time for Stan to be in the limelight. And at one point I just realized I wasn't really sure what to do with him. The main problem, to me, was that Stan felt merely like a trope or a caricature, not a nuanced character, especially compared to the rest of the cast, and thus his interactions with Lena felt forced and uninteresting to me.

Surprisingly, many of you seemed to like Stan (I guess his character trope is actually appealing, that's why I added him to the cast in the first place). And there was this other criticism that had been weighing on me from early on, where some of you complained about the lack of "decent" or "good guy" love interests for Lena outside of Ian. At some point I thought about adding another male NPC to fill in that role, a new co-worker at the restaurant or maybe a musician guy, but the cast is already too big, so I scraped the idea. But I kept thinking about it, and the solution became apparent: Stan, underused as he was, could fill that role perfectly. But he couldn't do it in his current state.

And that is what Stan was originally. Then the rework happened and he became more of an incel rather than an insecure nerdy character. I guess the argument can be made that incels are insecure and sometimes, but not always, nerdy; but that certainly wasn't the feeling I got from Stan originally.

New Stan isn't exactly a bad character, I just much preferred how he was before the rework. Just felt like there was much more potential for him then, than there is now. That was a Stan I could actually see getting together with Holly. That was a Stan I could see becoming a decent love interest for Lena after a little bit of work on the players part. I suppose he could still be a decent enough LI now given some work, but there are a lot more red flags with his character than there previously was. He also started to take more of a back seat to other guys like Axel and Mike, which hurts his overall character since he is used less. So I'm actually not sure what EK is really on about in that post, because in my opinion EK made Stan exactly the opposite of what she was looking to do with the character.

Well, whenever it comes out I just finished a speed run where Ian and Lena had sex a few times, but then Ian slept with Holly and Lena dumped him and didn't sleep with anyone else, and is totally committed to Seymour.

So I can't wait for my first playthrough of the first part of Chapter 13 with a Lena that is "free and clear."

I've also continued to write the follow-up part of Chapter 13, as well as plan and prepare new scenes. Dring the rest of the week I will playtest the Seymour bit, code the images, music and sounds and hopefully release the Alpha during the weekend.
Most of the time people omit some words to set high expectations thn later blame the dev when they're not met.

Mfers still religiously believe and get invested in update delivery (estimation) dates from porn game devs, smh.
Hey, I am eagerly anticipating the update this weekend, even if it is only an estimated date! EK hasn't to my memory missed on her estimation dates. I do think it'd be stupid to get mad if she does not release this weekend.
